Year 3

Class Photograph

As you are aware, the Year 3 staff are Mrs Rhodes, Mrs Read, Miss Fortuin and Mrs Molloy; we are a team so please feel free to come and chat to any of us if you have any concerns!

Communication between teacher and parent is important in your child’s progress throughout the year. If you need to see any of the Year 3 teachers please make an appointment via Mrs Caines in the Reception area.

We are looking forward to completing some exciting work with your children this year and seeing how much progress they will make during this academic year.

Key Information

Just a reminder; homework is sent out on a Friday, this needs to be returned and handed in on a Wednesday morning. Extra homework can be completed on and Education City. The children have their login information in their school planner.

We have a times tables test on a Monday afternoon and spellings are tested on a Friday. Please can you support your child as much as possible with times tables at home. They need to practice the multiplication and division facts and can use times tables rockstars to help them. Also encourage them to read as much as possible and sign their reading diary once they have completed a book.

We have PE on Thursdays and visit the School Library on a Tuesday.
